Beach Rose

There is so much about this picture that hasn't been said! This picture literally makes me want to go to the beach. It's bright, it's got a happy feel to it, it makes me feel warm. From the fluffy blue clouds to the warm light brown sand, this is an amazing picture. This picture is like a breath of fresh air.
~ Amy is my favorite character and the artist made her look amazing! Her long quills was an amazing idea and it gives that older look to her.The shading in her fur is soft and bright. Amy's pastel color was shaded beautifully. The pink laminates her personality. Also,her eyes are the perfect shades of green. They look inspired, and excited. She looks happy where she is and it brings out the warmness in the picture.
~Amy's out fit is just outstanding. The flowers in her quills are done quite perfectly. Each petal is done in a different direction giving it more of a realistic look. The whole outfit gives her an innocent look! I love the folds and different shades of the dress. I also really love the idea of the bow tied on her neck holding her dress up. It's like her original dress only in a very different style.It is sleeveless making it appear to be warm there. It gives a very beachy feel like the warm wind is hitting her. Her shoes are just adorable! The flowers are repeated on her shoes giving that flowery feel. They compliment the dress and her personality. I also really like the cream yellow color repeated in the shoes and ribbon. Over all, I think the artist did an outstanding job of Amy
~The background is very well done. The clouds are fluffy and shaded wonderfully. They aren't all shades of white and grey, but there is also blue! The fading affect for the clouds was really nice making it show that there were some in the distance. I think they were really nicely done. The water its great! The color and shading, the rocks, and the foam by the shore are all very neatly done. The rocks sticking out of the water is a really nice idea. It makes the water feel more fuller. The white/light blue streaks on the middle ground and background of the water make it show that there is wind blowing. The darkness in the sand color make it show that the sand is wet and it was nicely done.
